Pittburgh's Water Crisis #6
Less than a day ago, PublicSource published the untold story of Pittsburgh's water crisis. Many Americans are fortunate to drink clean water every day which is a necessity that we all take for granted. In 2016, Pittburghers had realized 2016 that their water might've been poisoned with lead. Pittsburgh has decided to remove all public lead pipes by 2026 but it will cost billions. As of right now, the water bill in Pittsburgh is over $100 a month but in the next two decades, the water bill will be between $240-334 which is expensive. Hundred of people were involved and several were impacted. The crisis is much more than shocking but complicated. Although many are looking for solutions their aren't a lot because the crisis has gotten worse. Unfortunately, the only option is to pay the price in order to fix this problem.

I think it is crazy how lead can be in any water and some people drink it without even knowing it. Like you said above lead can poison the people that drink it. I never thought fixing water pipes can lead to billions of dollars.
