Global warming is continuing to destroy the land we live on and is continuing to put more and more of our animals closer to extinction. As the earth becomes  warmer when it's supposed to be getting cooler and having many droughts and plants being destroyed it causes our wildlife to suffer tremendously. Looking further into my topic on how global warming affects our animals the results are devastating as these animals are closer to extinction than I had originally thought. According to the Central for Biological Diversity over a third of our animal population here on earth are shown to be extinct by the year 2050, that's in less than 30 years. Their research has been proven to show that with the continuing greenhouse gas we are headed down a dark scary path with irreversible conclusions. We as humans need to step up and work together to fix these problems before it's too late and before our earth has no more creatures roaming its land. The problem with this is not everyone is educated on the severity of this topic or understand the importance in the choices we make in our day to day lives and how they affect everything around us.

  1. I do agree that global warming has been very detrimental to our Earth the last few years. Also, I did not realize it was over a third of our animal population that could be extinct in less than thirty years.

  2. Nice work, I also agree that global warming is continuing to destroy earth and the messed up part is we can do something to fix it but it’s only a hand full of people trying to fix it and that’s not gone make the cut more people need to come together.

  3. I totally agree that global warmth causes a huge extinction of animal species and this needs to stop. We, the humans, can do something about it and we really need to start with it because, at this speed, there will be no Earth anymore to live on. I also agree when you said that there are too many people who are not aware enough of this problem. Do you maybe have an idea on how to confront them? I think that you did a good job summarizing the article and giving your own opinion about it.
