 Running out of Water

I never thought that being able to live somewhere with running water would be such a blessing. I used to think that it was just a common thing that everyone in the world has because it’s a necessity to live. Many cities today are at a risk of running out of water. There are about 1.2 billion people across the world are already living without water and it is predicted that 500 million more are going to be approaching this situation as well. In many cities, across the globe, water is not available every day and “safe” water availability varies widely within countries. This is caused by a combination of global changes such as climate change, population growth, urbanization trends and human actions. This situation calls for immediate action.

  1. I did a paper in high school about the water crisis, and I had the same reaction once I began to research the topic. There have already been water rationing in different places. What would be the first thing you’d implement to make this situation better?

  2. I’m glad you chose to talk about the water crisis as this is an issue that I feel like a lot of people don’t pay enough attention to. I would’ve liked to see you come up with some solutions that could possibly have made this issue better but still you had a lot fo good information about the topic. Nice work.
