Land Pollution #4

Causes and prevention of land pollution

The main causes of land pollution are littering, construction, mining, and agriculture. Littering is the most common of what people think of when the hear the word land pollution. During construction, there is often material that is not disposed properly which leads to more land pollution. Taking steps to help the environment is very crucial for the future. Recycling is a small step to help the environment, but can be very impactful. Reforestation helps bind the soil and helps protect it from land pollution. For agriculture, using less pesticides and chemicals in will help greatly with land pollution. Even starting to not litter is still a small step closer to stopping land pollution,

  2. Megan,
I really enjoyed reading your blog post above. I like how you stated where you found this information. I agree with you on the agriculture side of things, and on how people need to stop littering. Littering is so bad for our environment and for everyone around it. If everyone could just do their small part in not littering, I think we could stop this global issue.
