US Oil Extraction

In 2019 the United States hit an all time high of crude oil production, averaging 12.2 million barrels a day (b/d). From 2009 to 2014, crude oil production increased from roughly 5 million b/d to about 9.5 million b/d, and it actually decreased down to about 9 million b/d in 2015. From there, it shot up to 12.2 million b/d in 2019. However in 2020, crude oil production decreased to 11.3 million b/d, over an 8% decrease from 2019 which is a big leap.
Yes, we still have a lot of oil, though sometimes in awkward places, or needing weird ways to extract it. Like that well off the coast of California...

Hi Caleb I think you did a really good job. The image was a great fit and I had no idea we produced that much oil and in a day!
