In this article, it gave 10 different ways to help maintain waste disposal. Out if these 10 I will talk about the two that stuck out to me and I thought were the most interesting. The first being how computer technology can help maintain waste disposal. This could be using robots at recycling facilities to help sort the waste. It could also be tracking products and collecting data and use that to create business models based on product lifecycle data to later prevent more waste. 

The next one that stuck out to me was changing packages into recyclable forms. Online shopping is only growing and people are constantly having packages delivered to their house. These changes would include smaller cardboard boxes, lighter-weighted bottles, flexible plastic packaging, and other ways to turn “common everyday throw-away items” into more recyclable versions. This old also create new ways of divining waste.

    I think this week you did a great job on your blog post. I really enjoyed how you made it personal and use the computers as one of your topics. Do you happen to know where the nearest recycling center is? I know where I grew up we had it for paper, plastic and cardboard but we did not have it for technology.

    I think you did a great job with this week’s blog. I like that you gave your opinion on the tips to maintain waste disposal. I also found it very interesting that this article gave us tips to maintain waste disposal instead of just giving us shocking numbers and saying how bad the situation is. They are actually trying to change things, which I encourage a lot.

     This will be the last blog post I  do on this topic, I have been researching and learning about the issues of conservation and extinction for several weeks now and I feel a lot more personally connected to this issue. this exercise has helped me gain a new understanding of the threat we face in our world today. Biodiversity is very essential in large ecosystems. The most noticeable, is the resource availability. With plenty of water, comes plenty of insects. The insects pollenate plants, which bring in amphibians and rodents, and fish. This draws in small predators like birds, reptiles, fox, and many more and this keeps going on and on. As long as the biodiversity is large within an ecosystem, it will continue to grow. Reintroducing biodiversity could rejuvenate a declining ecosystem as well, but this needs to be done very intricately so you do not cause a situation like the invasive species which causes a new issue.
