Global warming as we know is a continuing problem in this world that we live in. It has affected our environment in so many ways from the sea levels rising, droughts, wildfires, and so much more. One of the huge problems I have been focusing on is the animal endangerment and animal decline that has come with the worsening of global warming. One thing that is going on that not many people are talking about is the bird shells that are now becoming unable to hatch due to the changes in the climate. Online Library says, “Exposed to heat peaks, eggs in both populations had lower incubation time variability at the detriment of hatching rate. This study highlights the need for functional studies in this invasive species to understand the effects on population dynamics of interacting biotic and abiotic environmental factors under climate and anthropic habitat changes.” So as we can see global warming has an effect on the pre life as well as the animals already living. So before we know it reproduction is going to be harder and harder to do as the climate changes giving eggs a condition they are not able to hatch in.

  1. I really like your blog and how global warming has not only affected the planet but also hatching. I never thought animals decline was possible. What other animals are affected by this? Overall great post!

  2. I had no idea that global warming was affecting new born animals like birds. At least with the whole hatching process. Are there any other animals that are affected by this? Is there anyway that we can help them? Overall, great job!

  3. I really like your blog and I didn’t know that the conditions especially for the birds were so bad. If the birds can’t hatch, there will be no birds left and it breaks my heart to even think about it. Did they find a solution to this increasing problem? Maybe we can bring the birds to a place where it is colder at the moment so they won’t have problems with their incubation time?

  4. I thought your post was really interesting, it’s crazy how climate change can affect animals while still in the eggs. I never really thought about his birds can still be affected before hatching.

  5. I really enjoyed reading your blog! I didn’t realize how much globs warming affects everything. How long do we have until chickens are unable to reproduce? Are they other animals that are affected by this?
