Keeping it Cool
One of the frequently asked questions about this topic is, why are glaciers melting? Well, glaciers have been melting ever since the early 1900s due to humans activities. Factories, carbon dioxide, and greenhouse gas emissions have all raised temperatures and made the planet warm which ends up rapidly melting glaciers. With this end result, it makes sea levels rise and scientific experts have confirmed by the end of the century, water will rise 20 feet globally which will leave no land to live on. The effect on humans is also massive because coastal places will face flooding and intense storms. Another thing to keep in mind is the species that live there. Polar bears will lose their homes and will spend more time on land which causes conflict with people. If we do not try to stop this problem eventually they will be extinct. Future generations will no longer be able to see the beauty of this planet because our current generation is destroying it.
