Agricultural Pollution, a threat to the planet's water:

What is the risk?  Risk is the sector that generates the most wastewater on the planet.

Agricultural land receives approximately 115 million tons of fertilizers per year.  20% ends up accumulating in the soil and in the bio mass.  Another 35% end up in the oceans and rivers.

What is bio mass?  It is the amount of products obtained by photosynthesis, capable of being transformed into useful fuel for man and expressed in units of surface and volume

Every year the planet is sprayed with 4.6 million tons of chemical pesticides, generating excess nitrogen and phosphates in the earth and causing about 24% of the world's irrigated surface to be affected by salinization and nutrient overload.  Agricultural pollution is being a serious threat to the water of the planet.  It is in our hands to use them carefully and become aware that we are ending the world.

One of the effects that in my opinion is one of the worst is the modification of the ecosystem to be able to plant more and more crops, which consists of cutting down forests.  By cutting down the forests they make the animal life disappear, unfortunately the animals are left homeless since the dynamics of the soil also changes because the same living beings no longer live in that part.

A curious fact that I found is that fertilizers, although not properly toxic, can also modify the natural concentration of nutrients in rivers and lakes and waters, and the problem with this is that in the future animal species are going to have to nourish in other ways, causing the food chain to be modified as well.

  1. You did a really good job summarizing the information and I also agree with your opinion. Deforestation is an increasing problem and it breaks my heart to see that we, humans, take the homes of animal species away. I wish that some found a manner to change this so the habitats of endangered animal species would still remain intact. I also like the fact that you used a video on YouTube instead of an article.
